Celebrate Volunteers’ Week in Milton Keynes – Get Involved!
Community Action:MK are inviting organisations across Milton Keynes to take part in a joyful, city‑wide celebration of volunteering as part of Volunteer’s Week.
They are hosting a special event to recognise and celebrate the incredible impact of volunteers in our communities — and would love for you to be involved, whether by coming along to celebrate or contributing to the event.
Date: Wednesday 3 June
Time: 4–6pm
Location: MK Rose, Campbell Park
This free, open‑to‑the‑public event is a chance to come together and celebrate the dedication and generosity of volunteers who help shape Milton Keynes and strengthen our communities. The atmosphere will be relaxed and festival‑style — family‑friendly and drop‑in.

Make this event part of your Volunteer’s Week celebrations
Bring along your volunteers, colleagues, families and friends
Celebrate the difference your volunteers make to your organisation and community
Ways you can take part – please let us know what you would like to do
You’re very welcome to contribute in whatever way feels right for your organisation, including:
Food or catering from your group
A performance (music, dance, spoken word, etc.)
A stall to showcase your work and connect with the community
A short story or volunteer thank‑you celebrating impact
Share your volunteer stories
We are also inviting organisations to help us shine a spotlight on volunteering by sharing your volunteer stories and impact. This could include:
a short video
a blog or short written piece
a volunteer testimonial or shout‑out
We will share these across our social media channels throughout Volunteer’s Week to celebrate and amplify the amazing contributions being made by volunteers across Milton Keynes.
