RESTORE:MK (formerly known as the MK Church Leaders Connect group) is co-ordinated by Steve Wood, Senior Minister at Newport Pagnell Baptist Church. Its purpose is to bring church leaders and influencers together, from across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area, to catch up, pray God’s restoration over one another, and seek and pray for God’s restoration for our city. Whilst we pray that the work of RESTORE:MK bears fruit in relationships and greater cohesion across the churches in Milton Keynes, its heart is always to facilitate and support, rather than to own.
In March 2026 around 50 church leaders and influencers across the city gathered at the Ridgeway Centre in Wolverton to pray for our city. The day included times of prayer as a whole group, as well as a choice of breakout sessions themed around different aspects and needs of our city. Below is a summary of the feedback received on the day as we reflected on what God was saying to us.
When we gathered in March there was a real sense that God is calling us to something significant as His people through this season. In response to this, we’re going to be working in the Autumn towards a city-wide initiative that will enable us to better journey, pray and work together for the spiritual, social, economic, political, and environmental transformation of our city.
Steve writes: “It is early days, and we only want to follow where God leads us. However, I’m hopeful we will see some significant steps forward in the coming months as we partner together with God to see His kingdom come in this city.”

PARKING: Unfortunately, we didn’t realise when booking that parking is quite limited at All Saints Church, and there are on-road restrictions due to its proximity to MK station. So, our advice is for you to park at the free car park opposite Loughton Baptist Church (MK5 8AJ) and take a 5-minute walk to the venue. Apologies for any inconvenience.
