RESTORE:MK (formerly known as the MK Church Leaders Connect group) is co-ordinated by Steve Wood, Senior Minister at Newport Pagnell Baptist Church. Its purpose is to bring church leaders and influencers together, from across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area, to catch up, pray God’s restoration over one another, and seek and pray for God’s restoration for our city. Whilst we pray that the work of RESTORE:MK bears fruit in relationships and greater cohesion across the churches in Milton Keynes, its heart is always to facilitate and support, rather than to own.
In March around 50 church leaders and influencers across the city gathered at the Ridgeway Centre in Wolverton to pray for our city. The day included times of prayer as a whole group, as well as a choice of breakout sessions themed around different aspects and needs of our city. Below is a summary of the feedback received on the day as we reflected on what God was saying to us.
It is clear that God has more for us and Steve is working with others to move towards some next steps.
