Youthwork+
Youthwork+ are a local charity which helps support leaders doing youth and kids work at churches and charities or those that want to start. We’ve been running as a ministry since 2020, and became a charity in 2021. We realised first hand that youth and kids ministry can be tiring, thankless, hard and lonely. Our aim is to do everything we can to fix those problems – to re-energize, thank, encourage, make life easier and enable connection/peer support so that those things don’t hinder anyone’s ability to stay in role and ensure those things don’t hinder anyone’s ability to do youth/kids ministry effectively.
Youthwork+ cheers on, brings together, advises, trains, equips and supports leaders to help them strategize and optimise their youth and kids ministry & ensure they feel confident doing it, avoid burnout & stay in role for longer. We help support employed staff and volunteers in Milton Keynes and beyond. We help support youth and kids leaders by providing free advice and consultancy, monthly podcast, networks, free training, online resources library and in person resource evenings, encouraging/useful social media content, promoting youth/kids ministry jobs and more.
