RESTORE:MK (formerly Connect) Church Leaders Gathering – January 2026

Hi everyone,

As things get busier in the run-up to Christmas, I hope you’re all doing well.

After our last Connect Leaders meeting, I shared with you that we not only have some exciting news for 2026, but are re-branding as RESTORE:MK, dedicated to gathering church leaders with a heart for our city.

The dates for all our gatherings are set for 2026 (see below), but there are two that I want to draw your attention to:

RESTORE:MK January Gathering – Wednesday 7 January

Join us on Wednesday 7 January, 9.00-11.00am @ Venture Church (was MKCC) to start the year praying for one another and our city. Register today to let us know that you’re coming.

RESTORE:MK Day of Prayers for our City – Thursday 19 March

As we see God moving in our churches and across our city, we’re calling church leaders and influencers from across the city to dedicate a day to prayer together. From 9.30am to 3.30pm on Thursday 19 March, we’ll gather at the Ridgeway Centre, Wolverton to pray for our city.

The day will include times of prayer as a whole group, as well as a choice of breakout sessions themed around different aspects and needs of our city. We’ll also ensure you are well fed with some delicious pastries, fruit, and drinks, as well as a generous lunch. The event is free, with donations welcome to help cover costs. Claim your free ticket today.

Our other meeting dates for 2026 are:

  • Tuesday 9 June
  • Wednesday 16 September
  • Thursday 19 November

You may not have been to one of our gatherings before, but please pray over and consider joining us in 2026.

We would love to see you.

With love and prayers,

Steve Wood

RESTORE:MK (formerly known as the MK Church Leaders Connect group) is co-ordinated by Steve Wood, Senior Minister at Newport Pagnell Baptist Church. Its purpose is to bring church leaders and influencers together, from across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area, to catch up, pray God’s restoration over one another, and seek and pray for God’s restoration for our city. Whilst we pray that the work of RESTORE:MK bears fruit in relationships and greater cohesion across the churches in Milton Keynes, its heart is always to facilitate and support, rather than to own.
