We will be celebrating our 10 years of the Great Get-Together Iftaar. This annual event seeks to create a sense of belonging and inclusion through its multi faith / multi community content that is emotionally and spiritually uplifting.

This year’s theme is My City, My Home, The Migration: from Hijrah to Harmony celebrates the diversity within our City of Milton Keynes and tell the parallel story of the migration by the Prophet Muhammad peace and blessing be upon him (PBUH) from Makkah to Madinah.  It draws lessons in the context of the present and the importance of living harmoniously, working to strengthen and build a cohesive community one which protects and looks after each other.

Everyone is welcome! The Great Get-Together Iftaar since its inception in 2017, focuses on bringing communities together – Muslims with other faiths, people with no faith and the wider community to celebrate our connections as human beings. That “we are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us”.
