CTMK Events during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2026
The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (WPCU) takes place each year from 18 to 25 January. This ecumenical celebration provides an opportunity to focus our prayers on Christian unity and to know that we are joining with international siblings in Christ. WPCU is also a great chance to speak about and experience Christian unity personally, in your village, town or county. You can find more information about the WPCU here.
We invite you to join us at two events we are holding during this year’s WPCU.
An Ecumenical Service on Sunday 18th January 2026, 6pm at St James Ecumenical Church, Church Street, New Bradwell, Milton Keynes MK13 0DA
Our Preacher is Doral Hayes, Principal Officer for Ecumenical Development and Relations, Churches Together in England. Music will be provided by the One Voice Choir. More details about the service can be found here.
Hope for the World Concert on Sunday 25th January 2026, 7pm at Christ the Cornerstone, 300 Saxon Gate West, Central Milton Keynes MK9 2ES
A charity concert of four works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart performed by the Cornerstone Chamber Choir, Orchestra and Soloists, directed by Adrian Boynton. The charities we are supporting this year are Camphill MK, and Bridgebuilder Trust. Tickets are priced at £22.50 and £15.50 (under 18 years £5).
